You are not required to choose but have the option to do so if you desire.

We encourage you to explore the savings possibilities offered by deregulation but we urge you to use caution when selecting a marketer. Savings offers, contracts, terms and conditions may vary significantly. Remember that just because you're using a marketer the savings are not always guaranteed. Carefully consider the details before entering into any agreement and read the fine print of the agreement before signing any contract.
