South Jersey Gas Statement Regarding Customer Billing Inquiries

South Jersey Gas recently upgraded its Customer Information System (CIS) to improve our level of service to customers. In the January bill cycle, approximately 3% of our customers may have received lower than anticipated bills. Utility bills are sometimes estimated when expected customer usage does not equal historical consumption. South Jersey Gas expects the situation to be corrected in the next bill cycle. We are developing a more detailed message to those affected customers and will be communicating that message on their next bill.

South Jersey Gas apologizes for this inconvenience. We greatly appreciate customers’ patience as we work to address and correct this situation.
